Here is the list of games that are going to be released this week-:

1. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Vegas 2

Platform - PC

The sequel of Rainbow Six: Vegas is finally here but a few weeks late for the PC platform. The orignal Rainbow Six: Vegas was a surprise hit and Ubisoft then quickly came out with its sequel. The console version was launched last month and has already sold 2 million copies worldwide. The old game followed a story of Las Vegas being captured by terrorists and this one follows on similar lines. Rainbox Six: Vegas 2 also has a new character named Bishop which is customizable in the same way the multiplayer characters were in the Multiplayer Mode of Rainbow Six: Vegas.

2. Okami

A unique and orignal Japanese storyline make Okami an interesting game

3. Gran Turismo: Prologue

The Most Violent Games of all time!

The Worst Violent games of all times

Here are the most violent games of all time!

5. Custer’s Revenge

Platform – Atari 2600

This game is a very unique one. It is one of the oldest game to give on-screen nudity a try. This game uses rape as its gameplay. Quite Violent I will say! Parents should make sure their children stay away from these kinds of games.

4. Night Trap

Platform – PC/Mac/3DO/DS

Night Trap caused controversy in US and Australia primarily. It’s a horror movie copy – a house, girls clad in revealing dress and a group of killers that only you can defeat. Surprisingly the PC and 3DO version did not have any such controversy

3. Carmageddon

Platform - PC

In this racing game you had two ways to win a race. Just reach the finish line or be the first one to kill all the pedestrians on the street. The OFLC passed this game as a “MA15+” rating still the highest for any game!

2. Third Kill

Platform – PS1

It’s totally different when a Government bans a game and when a publisher bans a game. That was the fate of this four player playstation 1 game which was banned by EA saying that this game is “senselessly violent”.

1. Manhunt

Platform – PC

The manufacture of GTA series, Rockstar produced this game which shows the dark side of them. This game was initially passed by OFLC in October 2003 but later on due to government pressure it was refused classification in September 2004

Guitar Hero On Tour for DS

Guitar Hero has made its mark on every Gaming System. Now its time to conquer the handhelds. Activision has officially announced ‘Guitar Hero On Tour’ for the DS.

The way to play this game would be an additional accessory which goes into the GBA Port and which acts like the 4 Buttons on the normal version of Guitar Hero.

Check out this Video to know exactly how you’ll be able to game :

From the Video it seems the DS is held sideways with the hand gripping around the Guitar attachment and also hold down the fret buttons. Other hand would be used to strum using stylus.

Well the idea seems pretty neat….will it work practically or not it still to be known…check back later for Links to Reviews about this game….

March 31st:

Dream Pinball 3D- The classic game of pinball in the palm of your hand. Simulation

My 2 Cents (or whatever they’re worth): Wow, there are a LOT of games coming out this month for the DS. The sad part of this is that half are kiddie fair, and the another quarter of them are just looking bad. This month is all about two games. Final Fantasy and Ninja Gaiden. Both series are great in their own ways, and these handheld editions will be perfect practice for their upcoming console entries on the 360 and PS3. These “animal care” games are just too many.

Nanostray 2- Sequel to the popular shooter. Action

Petz Wild Animals: Tigerz- Take care of tigers as well as train them for the circus. Simulation

My 2 Cents (or whatever they’re worth): Wow, this month DS owners will be taking care of a lot of animals! Seriously though, that stuff is alright for younger audiences, but do we really need eighteen animal care games every month? This months good games look to be Bubble Bobble, mostly because its returning to the style of gaming that made it famous: the Platformer. Nanostray was a good shooter, so the sequel should be worth a look. Of course there is also Ace Attorney, which every smart DS owner should pick up. This month’s really interesting title looks to be Insecticide. With it’s film noir-ish feel, along with it’s cool insect characters, it could be an interesting game. It’s like a Bug’s Life for Sin City fans (well, maybe not that hardcore).

Bomberman Land Touch! 2- New installment in the popular franchise that uses stylus functionality. Action-Adventure

January TBA:

Mega Brain Boost- Use your brain in a variety of mini-games designed to make your brain work hard, this collects both Beta Wave and Gamma Wave titles. Puzzle

My 2 Cents (or whatever they’re worth): While not a great month for DS titles, there are a few “diamonds in the rough”. Advance Wars is an excellent strategy series, and will remain so in this installment. If you want to get addicted to a game, try Advance Wars out, you won’t be able to remove that DS from your sweaty mitts. Bomberman is another addictive title, and if you have friends to link up to, it gets even better. Mega Brain Boost will be fun for those who like similar brain teasing games, but be warned if you own either or both Brain Boost: Gamma Wave or Brain Boost: Beat Wave. This is simply a collection of those titles, so don’t bother as its not technically a new game. The rest of the titles just bore me. Miami Nights? Come on, people.

Nintendo DS Breakdown: December 2007

December 3rd:

American Girl: Julie Finds a Way- Adventure game based on the popular children’s book series. Action-Adventure

December 18th:

Corvette Evolution GT: Race your favorite Corvettes to victory. Racing

Indianapolis 500 Legends- Play as your favorite Indy drivers in this racing game. Racing

My 2 Cents (or whatever they’re worth): This month is pretty bare for DS owners. There are few stand out title, unless you love puzzle games. Left Brain Right Brain and Luxor might provide those puzzle game fans with something to tide them over, but there are already enough puzzle games available for the DS that are more than likely better choices. So this month I urge you to get to your local game shop and browse for some older titles you may have never had the chance to play. Often times games can be overlooked, and those bargain bins aren’t all crap.

Also be sure to check out Contra 4, Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings, and Dragon Quest Monsters. If you don’t have a Wii, pick up Geometry Wars, and Raving Rabbids 2. If you do have a Wii however, pick up those two for that instead. One wild card in the bunch is Nintendo Magic. It looks like it could be a very unique, original title. The rest is really nothing to write home about, save your cash for next month.
